Student Spotlight: Shah Jahan Khan

Q: What made you decide to enroll in Embry-Riddle?
A: It allows me to expand my aviation knowledge and gets me ready for the aviation industry.

Q: What was it about the program at Embry-Riddle that appealed to you?
A: It covers all aspect of the aviation industry, from airport, to airlines, cargo and more.  

Q: What's your favorite course so far?
A: Strategic Management. It gave me the conceptual skills to create a strategic audit for a company, a skill set which would definitely be useful to me in the future. 

Q: How do your professors enhance learning?
A: They use different methodologies, which made my learning experience a better one, such as role playing, debating, and even simulation games.

Q: How will this degree fulfill your ambitions?
A: I would have the competitive advantage of aviation knowledge, and i can apply them directly in my job scope in the near future.

Q: Where do you see your future taking you?
A: I see myself as a station manager of an airline next time, managing the airline operations and ensuring efficient and safe operations.

Q: Would you recommend Embry-Riddle to your friends? Why?
A: Definitely a yes to this question. Embry Riddle covers a wide variety of modules such as managerial accounting, strategic management, economics and even marketing, which is definitely useful in the working world. 

Q: What sparked your interest in aviation?
A: Definitely my cousin. He is a station manager of an airline and he is moving from country to country every two years.
