A minor course of study is a secondary area of academic focus that complements a student's chosen degree program. A minor consists of 18 credits, allowing students to explore different interests or gain additional skills in a specific field. A minor has the added benefits of making graduates more competitive in the job market or preparing them for further study in a related field.
